Why You're Not Losing Weight — Even When You Eat Healthy.
Hey!
You say you're eating healthy. Salads. Smoothies. Granola. Maybe a little hummus situation. And yet the scale hasn't moved since the Obama administration. So what gives? Here's the truth most people don’t want to hear: healthy food and weight-loss food are not always the same thing.
I see this every single day as a weight loss specialist. People come to me frustrated because they’re doing everything “right.”
But when I actually review their meals, I find the same patterns over and over again:
• Hidden calories hiding inside smoothies, sauces, and “healthy” snacks
• Portion blindness (yes, that handful of nuts was actually three servings)
• Low protein meals that leave you hungry two hours later
• Mindless snacking while cooking, driving, or pretending to answer emails :)
None of these things make you a failure. They just mean no one ever showed you how to read your plate properly. And once you learn how to see food differently, everything changes. Weight loss becomes less about willpower and more about structure. Because if your plate isn’t balanced…your results won’t be either.
If you're curious what I would notice in your meals, I review food logs every week inside my Plate Audits. And trust me — once you see what I see, the weight loss puzzle starts making a lot more sense.
Cheers,
Your Coach Sabiya
